Liked: Our stay at The North Cliff Hotel was incredible! The location was superb, offering stunning views. The facilities were top-notch, and the food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast (that’s what we have ordered). We were also very impressed by the thoughtful touch of providing a travel cot for our little baby. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience!

Okkkk…..
Liked: The view from the hotel was appreciated, Staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was amazing.
Disliked: While the hotel boasts an amazing views and location and friendly staff, there are several areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience. The room's ambiance was affected by a lingering perfume smell, pillows and bedding too, as though it was recently slept in, and a damp odor, suggesting the need for more thorough fresh cleaning. The rooms and entire place could use updated decor. The shower's temperature and pressure were inadequate, taps were either too hot or too cold. Despite the staff being friendly, their interactions often felt staged and lacked genuine warmth, diminishing the personal touch one might expect from personal owned B&B type of place.Dining options were VERY limited and unhealthy, breakfast was regular, and with limed healthy options. I noticed that pancakes were available for other guests at breakfast, yet we were not offered the option, which was disappointing as my son would have enjoyed them.I believe guests would prefer to choose their seating during meals, especially if they can sit outside with fresh air and a view. The quality of vegetarian/vegan food did not justify the price, particularly at dinner where the dishes resembled carelessly prepared side orders rather than fresh (tapas). Food was not fresh, or freshly cooked, not as described and much of it seemed defrosted, unpacked, canned and quickly prepped.Very little effort in presentation or quality. The WiFi service was very poor, and basic amenities like drinking water, fridge or even glass to drink (tap water) or a hair dryer were missing from the rooms. Furthermore, the room described as 'deluxe' felt quite modest. Despite these issues, the location and view was delightful.
