Disliked: Tough to find the entrance especially from the street address

Disliked: The immediate vicinity isn’t great, the hotel is quite hard to find and it doesn’t feel safe late at night. There was no water in the room and the bottles they sold were unreasonably expensive

Liked: This is my first time in Germany. The hotel is very clean, tidy, and the staff is enthusiastic. I really like the location. The view from above is very beautiful and everything is convenient when I need to move. I will come back soon.

Liked: The location is good but don't stay at this hotel. Their customer service is the worst.
Disliked: I don't recommend this hotel at all. I booked this hotel for a weekend in Berlin. In the middle of the night (approximately 4.00 AM) the whole hotel was awaken by a fire alarm that went off in the whole building. All guests were abruptly woken up by the blaring alarm and were instructed to evacuate the building. This was an extremely distressing and inconvenient experience, particularly given the early hour. The morning after at check-out, we were informed by the reception staff that there was no actual fire or threat of such, but that the smoke alarm had been triggered due to a fault in the alarm system - specifically, that the smoke detectors were improperly installed. In other words, this incident occurred entirely due to the hotel's negligence and was preventable. I have tried messaging the hotel and calling them about my complaint, but they have simply been ignoring me. Booking.com therefore advised me to place a review about my experience.
