22B Stakehouse on Bowen Wharf...

Liked: Within walking (and wheelchair) distance to Bowen Wharf which was a real plus. $35 a day in adjacent public lot but hotel pass lets you go in and out without more cost. $35 a day "amenities" cost includes 2 and only 2 cans of water, Wifi, a coffee machine in the room, and access to a very good indoor pool. Kitchen was closed due to water main break. Coffee machine in room did not work, and didn't get fixed for our second day. No coffee in the lobby.

Disliked: It’s showing its age. In need of refreshing. No notice that both the restaurant and bar were closed for construction.

Liked: The room was very nice with a balcony right on the marina.
Disliked: We had an afternoon where the hotel didn’t have water because of a problem. We tried to take a shower that afternoon and the water was brown. The next morning we tried to have breakfast at the restaurant, but it was closed because of a water main break.

Liked: Clean and great location!
Disliked: Had to pay for parking on premises (not terrible). Charged an additional “resort” fee bundled in with the cost of the room, plus taxes - we did not use the pool or eat on site (which would have been additional money to eat at the on site restaurant, which wasn’t even open on the days we stayed at the hotel). We just showered and slept there. In lieu of a resort fee, a “pool pass” should be an optional additional charge for guests IF they plan to use the amenities.
