Liked: looking for cheap and cheerful following a party held locally. we got cheap, not so much cheerful. the bed itself was comfortable but didn't look anything like the photos on the listing.
Disliked: Upon checking in, the staff advised they hadn't received payment for the room. After clearing it up, we were handed a key and told to enter through the side door when we arrived back later. We got back to the hotel at approximately 12:15am and the same staff members were closing the pub. They weren't very helpful at advising how to get entry to the rooms. Once in the room it was disappointing. The bathroom was cramped, the toilet seat not screwed on properly, the shower was taped up and either freezing cold or scolding hot. The carpet was torn, there wasn't much room to get around the bed, and the window was mouldy. Wish I had read more into the reviews before booking. Overall, a disappointing end to a birthday.
