Ok for short stay, good...

Liked: Breakfast first morning
Disliked: Stairs, no breakfast day 2 or 3, pump going all night until 4am on 3rd night

Liked: Staff were friendly and courteous
Disliked: We booked for breakfast for the three days that we were there, then got told on the Sunday that they didn’t have a chef to cook breakfast on the Monday, so had to find somewhere else for our breakfast before travelling back home.

Liked: It was convenient for it's location, a very comfortable bed and for it's money good value.
Disliked: It was a little bit noisy with the emergency door banging but it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Liked: Was travelling alone with my dog to walk in a pub was a bit strange. But was shown to my room and said you can come in the side door to the hotel instead of walking throw pub laid out well lounge and garden is all at the side .very good location greggs one stop and park ticked all my boxes lovely hot shower white towels had a good night sleep would stay again maybe a wkend so I could enjoy a drink or 2 nice a pub has music
Disliked: The only thing was I could hear the music in my room after 5 hr drive and to leave very early the next morning. Was surprised for a wk day but it did stop at 9.30.maybe just turn it down a little very order ally

We needed a dog friendly...

Liked: Great breakfast served by a very pleasant lady.
Disliked: Very loud music in the bar, no service in the lounge. No evening meal available.

Please sort out the WiFi

Liked: Friendly staff and the bacon roll at their cafe was delicious. Dog friendly. Good room size and the location was good for getting to places such as Cardiff.The cost of the room wasn't bad at all for three nights.
Disliked: I have osteoarthritis in my hip so the room being at the top of the building was not great.Internet access probably the worst I have ever experienced. Kept crashing and I was trying to finish a university assessment for submission. The staff said it was the same in the bar area. Sorry, but in this day and age, travellers do expect the WiFi to be a good standard. Sadly, this could be preventing a lot of return business.Parking hit and miss outside the hotel but a free car park wasn't far.
