Superb

Liked: Large space in the room, nice staff and warm ambiance, quiet and a good sleep, a historical building well preserved rendering an authentic experience.
Disliked: The chamber's window couldn't stay opened for ventilation and needed repair. The two taps for cold and hot water being separate, it was quite difficult to wash your hands properly.

Liked: The antiquity
Disliked: The room was so hot. The window wouldn’t stay open as the sash cord was broken and the fan provided only circulated hot air.The shower control was not easy to use.

One night

Liked: The room was far too hot at night. The radiator was on in the bathroom and the temperature outside of was in the mid 20s so sleeping was a bit awkward. My son had a room with a fan and the window opened better on his

Oldy worldy !

Liked: The staff were lovely at this very old coaching house with alot of history. Our four poster room was very old with slanted floorboards you really did feel you were in a very oldy worldy place. It has alot of history for being haunted and alot of people we met there were enjoying the history.

Amazing place, Would highly recommend

Liked: From looking I wasn't sure what to expect but from going there you find a rustic tudor house transformed into a beautiful inn. With a bar open downstairs and food bring served it was comfortable and ideal. Noting that the noise was not an issue for me in going to sleep either and this was a Friday night. Whilst I didn't try the food, the facilities looked amazing and within the room there was a tv and kettle aswell as my own ensuite- all the essentials. I can say I have a special favoritism to the person who checked me in, he went out his way to ensure my things were safe and assisted me, he was also pretty cute an added bonus. All the staff I came across though were polite and friendly offering an amazing experience. I will 100% be returning in the future when I come back to Gloucester and will be recommending this to my friends and family.
Disliked: Honestly there wasn't much I didn't like about the establishment. I'd just note that if you have a massive problem with stairs it's not for you- it depends on where you are and I just got unlucky in rooms (I booked 2 days before so the fault is my own).

Very good

Liked: It is a well looked after 14 century coaching inn. You are staying in history and could imagine how it was in the past. That alone makes it great to book.Good breakfast. Not included in booking but great fry up for 6.50 extra
Disliked: Room lay out was a bit awkward. Bed could have been by the window, opening up room a bit.
