The Neighborhood Hotel New Buffalo

Overall, a very nice place...

Liked: Great location and such a lovely place to stay.
Disliked: The toilet was not at comfort height (handicapped). I have a bad back and my husband just had knee replacement surgery so this was a little uncomfortable.

Perfect birthday stay.

Liked: The location was perfect. We walked to everything. The room was clean and had every amenity anyone would need. Beds were very comfortable. We loved our balcony room. The staff member was excellent she offered suggestions on dining and went out of her way to be helpful during our stay. We would definitely return for stays if in New Buffalo. Highly recommend!!!

Disliked: Being a beach town, it would be shave been great to have more racks for hanging towels, swimsuits etc.

Liked: The management was very responsive when an issue came up. i loved he aesthetics of the place, the decor was peaceful and relaxing and classy. I loved the way you thought of tenant needs, sunscreen offered, yoga mats, smores for children Reminded me of my stay o the Russian River in California and the way the set up was geared to community and community responsibilities. Other guests were great.
Disliked: I am 75 years old and had not realized that I had to carry all my luggage up to the 2nd floor. I have a bad back and it took a toll. Next time i book in I will request a first floor room. I booked in with a third party and had specifically requested a daybed for my daughter as we would be three people which was not communicated to the actual hotel staff unfortunately. It was a good thing that my partner had to stay back for business reasons or we woud not have had a place for all three of us to sleep. Ill book in directly next time with the hotel. It all worked out and management was responsive to the error.

Disliked: The shower floor was extra slippery & someone’s car kept going off after we went to bed.
