Desert storm trip

Liked: Boat launch, boat docks, location
Disliked: Food options, requested house cleaning, but didn't get any. They later gave us more towels, TP, etc. Just wanted room cleaned up. We were there for a week, and we only asked 1 time for a cleaned up room. 1 sink was clogged all the time. It did have a smell the first day we were there, too. But it went away the next day. Had we said anything, I'm sure they'd had done something.

Unsafe, disgusting and over rated....

Disliked: Dirty, outdated, dingy, with vomit piles lining the hallways. house keeping is not offered so things like clean towels, & toilet paper are only available if you go get it from the front desk between 7am and 5pm.The heated pool is not heated, The restaurants menu advertised online is non existent and is actually extremely limited the food is terrible at best and will have you on the toilet for hours. And good luck even being seated, we waited 35 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant another 20 for a waiter to take our order, and then were told breakfast was no longer being offered because it was 11am and the kitchen staff would be "pissed off if they got a breakfast order now"even though we were there and waiting just after 10. the coffee shop is worse than gas station coffee and does not have any type of coffee creamer what so ever so its black coffeee or one of the 3-4 other options they have on their menu. None of the blended coffee they have on the menu is actually avaliable. Thex resort staff is extremely unfriendly and useless. And to top off the experience a 2 day long frat party started, with kids trying to break through the door between the rooms as well as the front door of the room on multiple occasions, we had beer thrown at us while sitting on our patio, and at some point in the night our and other guests private boats were boarded and abused by a frat party, vomiting and spilling alcohol inside, as well as damaging other items on the boat such as the seats, flooring, extremely expensive fishing gear, life jackets and other personal property. Unfortunately all other hotels in the area were sold out or we would have left Friday night. This is a place I would recommend you avoid like a plague they advertise as being family friendly when it's anything but family friendly. You would have to be a complete and total fool to bring your family here, this is absolutely the last place you want your kids to be.
