It was a big disappointment

Liked: Bad overall
Disliked: Room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. I booked this hotel thinking I was getting old school charm. I got broken down pathetic The elevator broke down with our room on the 4th floor.

Liked: This hotel is right in downtown Silver City and within walking distance of everything in the historic area. The hotel had been remodeled at some point and they did a good job of keeping the original feel of the hotel. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the wifi good and it was a very good stayl
Disliked: I don't have any complaints about the stay.

Charming accommodations in Silver City

Liked: Motel atmosphere was great, room was comfortable and large. We appreciated the pet-friendly facilities and good breakfast and coffee!
Disliked: We arrived late and had trouble finding nearby parking

Liked: The location of the hotel was excellent as it was right downtown and next to a nice museum and antique shop
Disliked: They did minimal effort on breakfast and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Parking is either on the street or at the museum. Hotel is over 100 years old.

Exceptional

Liked: Authentic decor. Nostalgic trip to the past. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Good coffee and adequate breakfast.
Disliked: No bananas for breakfast.

It was just OK but...

Liked: Good location, bed was comfortable, room was relatively quiet & clean
Disliked: No assigned parking, no air conditioning, no room service over the weekend, low staffing, bathroom was tiny with single ply TP...

Comfortable

Liked: The location was a plus! The room was a little warm with no ac, some rooms have them some don't. Luckily, the desk clerk was able to supply us with a fan. The room was small but comfortable, beds very comfortable. Rooms were quiet, and I never heard other guests.
Disliked: Parking, street parking only! You may or may not get a spot near the hotel. Continental breakfast was crazy! With it being a busy weekend, it didn't seem like they were very prepared. Breakfast foods ran short, and with only 1 coffee carafe guest standing around waiting for more coffee, the large seating area had very few tables/ chairs for such a large area.
