excellent
Disliked: I didn’t know the pool was not included ,and that to use the pool is £50 per person ,it should state this when booking ,as £50 to get in some water is very expensive

Outstanding Hotel and Stay
Liked: We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the The Municipal Hotel. We were greeted by Concierge Jude who set the tone for our stay with his helpfulness and friendly nature. We arrived at 11am aware of check in at 15:00 but they stored our cases for us and they were sent ahead to our room before our arrival later in the afternoon. We were shown direcly to our room by a really great member of staff, I have forgot his name but he was an American chap who was super polite and pointed out the various areas of the hotel. The room (Double) was just the right size for us, its was exceptionally clean and bathroom was very nice with a really good power shower. It also came with lots of self care items such as cotton pads, ear buds, shower cap etc.On the back of the bathroom door was 2 fresh cotton robes for us to use. We put these to use when we used the Spa for the evening session (18:00 til 20:00). This was a lovely way to relax after shopping around the City. The Spa is has a Pool, Sauna and Steam Room and a really refreshing Iced Water Bucket! There are loungers around the pool area so you really lay back and relax. The Spa is priced at £30 per person and we booked ahead and paid just before we went at Reception. Before we headed out for the evening we had a stroll through The Palm Court Bar which is absolutely stunning and was packed with hotel guests, the atmosphere was lovely. The beds and pillows (choice of 2) were really nice and we had a really sound nights sleep!Breakfast was fabulous in The Seaforth Restaurant, the choice of breakfast was really fantastic. There is a continental section as well as the hot counter which included all the greats that you'd expect to complete your full English brekkie! You can also off an extensive breakfast menu if you fancy anything like Eggs Benedict.Check out was simple and quick. We parked in the nearby NCP Moorfields Car Park on Vernon Street (about a 3 minute walk to the Hotel).

disappointed, will not return.
Liked: The hotel was a beautiful hotel inside and out, room nice and big for a family of four people.
Disliked: the first night we attempted to get some drinks at the bar but waited for over an hour and could not get served at all ended up going to the room and ordering 2 cokes from room service and paid £25.00 ridiculous. Saturday night was the same again could not get served at the bar staff very rude, more concerned with hugging each other and chatting at the top end then serving anyone. tv in room would not connect to casting as stated which had a massive impact as we had 2 small children with us who could not watch any tv at all.
