Beautiful hotel, great staff and...

Liked: Absolutely stunning property, in a good location. The welcome from the staff was great, they were all very friendly and full of information about the area and the hotel itself. We were shown to our room with our dog and advised where all the facilities were. The rooms itself was on the smaller side but was immaculate. The high ceilings were very impressive. The bed was very comfortable and had a choice of pillows which we thought was a great idea. We both slept incredibly well, the air con aided this. The bathroom again was very clean and the shower was fantastic. There was a full length mirror - lighting wasn’t the best for getting ready, used bathroom mirror. We had some food and drinks at the property which were all lovely. All in all a great stay.
Disliked: The curtains are incredibly long due to the high ceilings but, just not quite long enough to stop the light coming through a small strip at the bottom which, if you’re a light sleeper, would wake you up when the sun rises. The hotel does provide eye masks for an extra charge but, we weren’t aware this would be a problem until the next morning. There also isn’t a place to get ready - there’s a desk with no mirror - TV above, and then a full length mirror with poor lighting. These would be my only complaints. Everything else was pretty much perfect!
