Liked: Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant.
Disliked: Shower over the bath - would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Liked: The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Very quiet. Well worth the stay.
Disliked: The meals in the restaurant were a little small. We had to wait an hour for food when we were the only people in! The side orders were cold and overcooked.

I stayed here for two nights in December 2010 - found the room okay but could have done with an update and the television was a small portable that was disappointing - On the whole not very good value for money

Liked: It’s a beautiful building with lots of historical details. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good and the restaurant is nice with lots of light.
Disliked: The dividing walls are too thin - could hear the person in the adjoining room coughing at night! Room was also quite small

Liked: Beautiful. The right amount and the bacon was done just right for me. Tea was lovely.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything as it was right for this occasion.
