Liked: Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant.
Disliked: Shower over the bath - would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Liked: The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Very quiet. Well worth the stay.
Disliked: The meals in the restaurant were a little small. We had to wait an hour for food when we were the only people in! The side orders were cold and overcooked.

I stayed here for two nights in December 2010 - found the room okay but could have done with an update and the television was a small portable that was disappointing - On the whole not very good value for money

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and...

Liked: comfortable rooms, lovely warm shower and a great breakfast in the morning. I met a friend there for dinner and cocktails, both were of a great quality and variety of options.
Disliked: The towel heater in the bathroom is hard to work, and will only come on for a max of 2 hours, so the bathroom was a little cool in the morning.

Liked: There were plenty of staff everywhere and they were helpful. The room was a good size and warm.
Disliked: The bathroom ceiling had water stains on it. Before we checked out a chamber maid walked into the room, luckily we were just packing up.
