Good

Liked: We really enjoyed the location. Lots of beautiful scenery, sheep, and horses. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. The shower room was updated and had a good aesthetic.
Disliked: Slightly dated room, small tv with some poor reception. Some small details missed in the cleaning, like coffee spashes. That said, a very nice place to stay.

Very good

Liked: The location is a little remote, which suited me as I had a car to explore the area,.My room had a great view of the moors from the bed, as well as the large window in the huge bathroom! Very picturesque, with sheep, ponies and sunsets! The guys running the hotel do a fabulous job, and run a very tight ship.At times, they could use extra staff, but if you are patient, it all works very well. The roast meals are huge and great value. If you're there on a Sunday evening, you get a cheap show by joining in with the local folk singers!Great entertainment!!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike here. It's on old building that seems to be finding a new life.Great atmosphere!

Highly recommend

Liked: The welcome was really friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The food not only tasted lovely and there was plenty of it , it was also excellent value. The people owning it have lots of plans to bring the decor back to life, so if you can ignore the slightly sad appearance you will have a wonderful stay. I plan to go back and lives a long way away.
Disliked: Nothing
