Liked: Very friendly staff
Disliked: Room good but some fittings slightly tired

Liked: Room was very spacious, compact bathroom but with large corner bath. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: Needs various bits of TLC. Window handle fell off while opening, bathroom quite tired, bed not the most stable, fridge didn’t seem to be working.

Liked: Lovely clean, spacious room, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Ideally, breakfast would be available before 9am.

Liked: The stay was absolutely brilliant. The hotel is a gem and the location is fantastic. The staff was always kind and helpful, with owner Alex being the head chef as well. We had the sunday roast and it was the best roast we had in our entire lives! Thank you for everything and good luck with your business!

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice & cosy room with a very comfortable bed. The Mooring Post is by the river side which gives a beautiful scenery

Needs a visit from a...

Liked: The family room was an excellent size and we appreciated having the separate bedrooms. Generous selection of drinks and toiletries.
Disliked: The rooms are tired and need some TLC. The beds weren’t comfortable and the pillows lumpy.Breakfast menu looked amazing but sadly was an over priced let down.

Slightly disappointed!

Liked: The area was quaint, sadly the staff weren’t aware of us staying. The corner bath/shower was dirty. The bath I couldn’t use as there was no plug and no water. The shower was passable! Very tight as it said kingsize.
Disliked: As stated above, improvements necessary.
