Really good

Liked: Great location - small but nice room. I can imagine the location is stunning in the summer. Whirlpool bath the highlight!
Disliked: The lovely restaurant was only open for 1 day of our 4 night stay

A comfortable place for a...

Liked: Nice room and comfortable, easy instructions for accessing building as no staff on site
Disliked: A real shame that the bar or restaurant isn't open Monday to Wednesday. We went to the Toby carvery nearby which offered good value for money

Great location for watching the...

Liked: We were upgraded to a lovely room with a great view of the river. We chatted to the new owners on the Sunday evening and were treated to some lovely Yorkshire puddings which we enjoyed for breakfast. There was a band on in the evening which were very good, it was really sad that there weren’t more people to hear them.
Disliked: The restaurant was closed from Sunday late afternoon to Wednesday. Therefore there was no food available during our stay. It was a shame as the food looked very good.

Style and comfort.

Liked: Room was lovely smart clean and peaceful. Very comfortable stay here
Disliked: As I live with a disability I hoped there would be a restaurant. As it's out of season it was closed unfortunately.
