An extremely pleasant stay

Liked: Our stay at the Moonraker was extremely pleasant. We travelled over Easter to enjoy a quiet staycation in the area and the Moonraker was a great base. We had a superior room in the main building which had a very large and comfortable bed. I was expecting a sofa in the room like in some of the pictures, but we didn't have this as our bed was on a mezzanine. Nevertheless, we were happy enough with the room. We didn't sample the breakfast but we did eat at the hotel restaurant on the first night which was an unexpected highlight. The food was very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They also had a particularly nice Chilean Sauvignon Blanc at the bar. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Moonraker.
Disliked: Room was a little dark due to the structure of the building and window placement.

Disliked: Not a fan of continental breakfasts. I asked for scrambled eggs on toast, but it was only available with smoked salmon. A very minor criticism
