Great hotel for the price!

Liked: I like that I could park my car right in front of my room. Also the beds were super comfortable. They were a memory foam type of mattress. The staff was very nice and offered me drinks for free when I checked in. At night they had a live band playing in the front bar area. There was amenities that were close like restaurants and grocery stores that were just down the street. We were able to eat at Panda Express and bring her food back to the hotel and eat at their tables at the front. The swimming pool is very clean and my kids had a blast.
Disliked: The only thing I would comment on about the room would be two things. First would be that the beds do not have fitted sheets or mattress protectors. Underneath the flat sheet is the bare mattress. I spoke to hotel staff and asked him if that is normal and they said that is just how they do it there. The second issue I had was the bathroom shower seems to have drainage issue. After taking a shower water was already running down the floor into the bedroom. The bathroom has a strange train that is not in the center of the shower it is on the edge where you enter. Also there is no door to the shower but that is by design.

Liked: The room was surprisingly nice. From outside did not look good. Staff was wonderful.

I thought it was a...

Liked: I really liked the independent vibe of this place as well as the bar/lounge on the property. The pool was also a really nice perk as it was HOT. The employee who I dealt with the first day was outstanding--truly helpful, kind, funny, a good bartender. . .I have nothing but praise for him.
Disliked: The ice machine was broken and the hotel would not let me have any ice from the bar.

Great vibe! Rude check in...

Liked: The location is an easy walk to Old town. The decor was fabulous!
Disliked: I believe the gentleman who checked us in was named Isaac. He was rude and unprofessional. I misunderstood something he said, and he told me I needed hearing aids. (Not as a joke) Later, when we came to the lounge to get ice, (the ice machine was broke.) he reluctantly got us ice. When we asked about the party/family room, he said he would open it for us, but requested that we clean up our shit. He used the word shit twice. To be clear, we didn't want to use the room, we were just inquiring about it. His manner was completely unprofessional.
