Good location, lovely stay

Liked: Location was great, staff friendly, gardens lovely
Disliked: For some reason the wine at the hotel bar was double the price compared to Montys restaurant (part of the hotel) room had cobwebs and the room was a bit tired. I thought extra charge for hot breakfast was disappointing

Liked: + very dog friendly - dog bed and welcome hamper provided with dog toy, sausage for dog at breakfast, etc+ great location, set in the village of Beaulieu, loads of great walks within 15 mins drive

Lovely place and staff but...

Liked: The staff in all parts of the hotel were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The heating was turned off for Easter and the hotel was very cold, especially the public areas

Beautiful hotel with a relaxed...

Liked: I was looking to spend a weekend in the New Forest in a well-appointed English hotel. This hotel meet all my expectations and more. Wonderful inviting rooms with upscale English decor. Location was the best, in the middle of the village with a wonderful pub next door. Horses, cows, and donkeys all walking past at varies times of the day. Such a pleasant place to relax and gather with family. We were visiting the UK from the US and this was the perfect place to enjoy a very traditional English weekend. Lovely walks nearby. Staff were very nice and helpful at all times.
Disliked: Parking was sometimes a challenge in the small parking area at the back of the hotel.

Liked: Beautiful building, high quality interior, great staff
Disliked: Disappointing choices in restaurant. Expected more varitety. All a tad boring

Liked: we loved our room and the whole hotel surroundings. All our meals in both restaurants were great
Disliked: The only thing was that the hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere and there isn't anywhere else to go in the evenings without driving
