Penny wise,pound foolish

Liked: Great location ,comfortable old hotel , lovely gardens
Disliked: 1 )We booked bed and breakfast via booking .com but breakfast was only continental and a very sparse continental At that !!! Full English breakfast was at surcharge with the high price we paid for this hotel. This extra cost was totally unacceptable so beware 2) Hotel restaurant only open Thursday to Sunday!! You get sent to there pub adjacent again not what we expected for the price

Beautiful hotel, we will definitely...

Liked: What a beautiful hotel. Very clean and very comfortable. We went down a bit early for breakfast but the staff were absolutely amazing and got us coffee while we waited. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Disappointing.

Liked: The hotel still holds a certain charm and the staff are attentive and helpful.Stunning gardens and perfect location.
Disliked: Having stayed here several times and the hotel being a personal favourite of mine,on this occasion I was a little disappointed.Our room was tired and worn.No information on the lovely touch of tea and coffee delivered to the room until I asked for it.Just not up toUsual standards whilst staying to celebrate my daughters weeding which was being held at Beaulieu Abbey.

Liked: Lovely location very peacefulComfortable bed
Disliked: Shower didn’t work properly Noise all night from some sort of generator Very sharp tongued staff at breakfast and we could hear them talking about us Breakfast was meant to be included when we got here it was not the continental breakfast included and you had to pay a lot more for English breakfast if hat as the case it should have stated only continental when we bookedNo one asked us how our stay had been when we were leaving
