The Lovely But Not Too...

Liked: The amenities were really ornate and historic. I really enjoyed the Mission Inn Cafe and also the colorful and beautiful art on the and the historical significance of the property. The staff was great and the location was amazing.
Disliked: The room has a number of dips in the floor. The shower was not working well and there wasn't any room in the sink for things like toothbrushes and such. The television didn't work great and had several channels that didn't work.

I waited in the lobby...

Liked: The architecture. The Patio Restaurant and Mexican Restaurant. The man, newer employee who is in charge of maintenance and engineering was wonderful. He saved our view of the whole experience by treating us well. I wish all of your staff behaved as he.
Disliked: The water in the wall running at night keeping me up in our suite. The slowness of the front desk staff to help or offer help.

Wonderful hotel with so much...

Liked: The property and the architecture were amazing. The spa was incredible as was the historic tour and the service at the bars was fantastic.
Disliked: The front desk staff could have a been a little more attentive at times.

Disliked: We had to change rooms. Certain locations are very noisy.

We had a wonderful weekend...

Liked: EVERY member of the hotel staff greeted us with a smile. Our room (261) was in the oldest section. It had the most interesting architecture and stained glass in the windows. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. We especially appreciated our dinner waiter, Hector, who joyfully catered to our 2 year old grandson. At breakfast we were pampered by Yohannes. The tile and copper work in the restaurant is beautiful. The walking tour is fabulous and includes the "catacombs" in the basement. James, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the hotel.
Disliked: Our mattress was very comfortable, but with the box spring it was quite high and a challenge to get into with arthritic knees.

Liked: Loved the hotel and its history. We took the tour of mission inn and the guide was excellent
Disliked: The housekeeping for the room was not good. I had to call 3 times to have someone clean the room. They finally came after 5:00 pm and spent 10 minutes in the room. No new cups were left for coffee and I do not think they cleaned the bathroom
