The best hotel in York!
Liked: One of the best hotels we have booked in the Yorkshire area over the years. Elegant but cosy. The staff at this Georgian style hotel were just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.You won't find a better hotel just outside of the wall in York. The location just minutes from York Minster made for a perfect stay. The car park was a bonus at a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable and luxurious and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.The best part of our stay at this family run hotel were the attentive staff who made our stay a truly wonderful experience.Thankyou. We will be back for sure when we come to York again.

Home from home
Liked: Hotel is very well positioned in the city. It is clean and comfortable and has a warm, homely feeling. Small and quirky, just how we like them. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was well appointed, and the bed was very comfy! Bar prices were very good as well.

Perfect location, excellent staff!
Liked: The staff and hotel are excellent. This is the second time I have stayed here, and the location to the city centre is perfect!Nothing is ever too much trouble.Breakfast is excellent.The room that we had was lovely and big, with a lovely bathroom and sash windows.

Perfect.
Liked: We were greeted by an extremely pleasant reception. Check in was simple and done in a few seconds. The room was lovely, really clean and pleasant. The hotel is located ideally close to the main attractions in York, and the breakfast was beautiful. Car parking was great, and we really appreciated being able to leave the car in their car park until 1pm on the day of departure.
Disliked: We wish we could have stayed longer!!!!!
