Disliked: The check=in experience which was down to me being agitated from a long drive and a slight disagreement with my wife about where we should have parked.

A very well located, friendly...

Liked: It was a recently refurbished room. Plush carpets throughout. Huge range if toiletries and accessories in the bathroom. Very clean and tidy. Comfy bed with quality bedding.All made for an exceptional stay.
Disliked: Staff were a little slow at check in. The pub area was busy when we arrived but a quick hello, I will be with you shortly would have been nice.Could do with some instant coffee in the room rather than making a whole cafetiere in the morning.

It was ok

Liked: Style and ambiance of the hotel and really enjoyed the music when we were having breakfast.
Disliked: Music loud after 11pm at night.Although breakfast was tasty the restaurant was cold in the morning and the lady serving us was not friendly and did not explain anything about how breakfast worked or even a "Good Morning". I was told which side of the restaurant to sit at and the table was obviously previously used and not cleaned. As for the bedroom it was comfortable but the mirror was very dusty, no obvious bin in the room and no where on the side to put rubbish re: empty milk sachets etc... The shower overfilled when showering and there was water everywhere on the floor and no shower gel. When we were shown to the bedroom it was extremely cold and the member of staff must have noticed but didn't turn on the heater provided or even show us where it was!
