Mixed feelings - some aspects...

Liked: We liked the location; decor of hotel but disappointed in some aspects of the room. However staff did what they could to improve problems

However staff did what they could to improve problems - No working extractor in bathroom Shower plug had to be lifted off as water flooded floor - were given fresh towels Cafetière hadn’t been emptied from previous room guests - was given clean cafetière. Noisy from patio area chit chat below Breakfast buffet items not refilled automatically had to ask but cooked breakfast tasty! Sadly no hotel car park but nearby parking was good.

Lovely stay, great local attractions...

Liked: Our room albeit not easy to get to for us was very comfortable. The room was in the eves of the building so storage facilities we very limited. The dining/restaurant facilities were spacious and comfortable with a very restful colour scheme. The breakfasts and evening meal were very enjoyable. The staff were more than helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Where the room was situated as we are in our 70s so climbing two flights of stairs with tight corners was better suited to younger people but that was no one’s fault but ours.

Liked: Room was a good size and a nice stylish pub and rooms decorated nicely. The girl who was working seemed over worked as she was on her own.
Disliked: The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. The single beds were tiny for our your adult boys. In the double room the lighting was terrible I couldn’t see myself putting on makeup. The breakfast was very minimal only 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage and 1 egg. Unusually very small for a full English compared to many other hotels we have stayed in.
