Lovely place

Liked: Lovely little hotel set in beautiful grounds
Disliked: Unfortunately, breakfast is served too late to allow eating and getting to where I'm working in time.

The hotel building was originally...

Liked: The breakfast was a. Standard British Breakfast but the food was cooked well.Also available was breakfast bar with cereals, milk and fruit juices .
Disliked: There lacked shower gel in the showerCubicle and there was two bottles ofShampoo. One very small tablet of soap at the sink

Pleasant and friendly

Liked: Excellent location for Green Park. Parking was easy and staff super friendly
Disliked: Room never warmed up even after turning radiator thermostat on. It went off late evening.

Lovely relaxed and enjoyable couple...

Liked: Lovely old hotel. Lovely gardens and nice countryside location. Very well kept. Nice restaurant and great food for both breakfast and dinner.

Okay for a couple of...

Liked: The staff was friendly, wifi was great. Plenty parking. was very noisy during the day.
Disliked: Old building, narrow stairwell. Breakfast was limited, no baked beans available. No Vegan sausages. The breakfast was not sumptuous. Not budget friendly for a family run hotel.

Great base for a few...

Liked: Beautiful building and groundsEasy access to A33 into Reading and the M4Friendly owners …excellent communication before arrival. ‘Traditional family run’ hotel …not a corporate hotel.
Disliked: The shower could have been better but bathrooms are currently being updated.
