Liked: The location is fab, staff are so friendly and couldn’t do more for you! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful along with amazing breakfast and meals!

A nice place to stay....

Liked: A nice place to stay. A very good sized rooms. Well equipped. I dined here as well. They had a wide selection on the menu. The food was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with friendly staff

Liked: Warm and friendly greeting and after a very long drive the staff were amazing, even offering to cook a light snack just as the restaurant was closing. The Scottish breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked and was really tasty and set us up for the day. Would definitely return.
Disliked: Occasional road noise, but the hotel is located on a major A route and wasn't really an issue for us.

Great that short enough

Liked: This hotel has been a regular stop when working in the area for a number of years now only draw back is the number of stairs and no lift as a registered disabled person this was a problem but nothing that couldn’t be overcome just take your time and do what you can staff very helpful and understanding nothing to much trouble food good portions more than expected breakfast extensive choice and for my personal choice a chef that can actually get a simple thing like poached eggs right with out resorting too so called tricks of the trade vinegar and the likes added to the water highly recommend the hotel from every angle large car parking area cleansing room size staff location all great what more can be asked of a small country hotel stayed before and will definitely stay again
