Liked: Room were clean and comfortable, Dinner was lovely, Sonia has been a star. Loved the hotel and Sonia and her staff were great.

Convenient stop off and lovely...

Liked: Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sonia welcomed me and saw me off very politely.
Disliked: The address on booking.com that you can copy and paste is wrong and took me somewhere else. Make sure to pay for car park, late at night it is not clear and is not mentioned clearly on booking.com

Liked: All the staff from reception to breakfast room were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy.Breakfast was varied and plentiful, although teabags and pastries needed replenishing more frequently

Liked: Sonia has been amazing as usual, great asset to this hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and Sonia helped at breakfast which was sweet

Liked: Good location (for us) but also could be for Peterborough & surrounding area. If looking for all mod cons, then this is not for you, but more than comfortable for a couple of nights. Staff helpful and polite did get some misleading information about the parking operator owning the carpark at the hotel, which is technically incorrect.
Disliked: The carpark should not be run by a private parking operator as they are only interested in making as much money from guests and not managing it.This has affected them & myself coming back..

Value for money

Liked: Lovely location, easy to get to, excellent facilities.
Disliked: Having to pay for parking in the hotel car park.

Disliked: Very poor service in the restaurant. Waited an hour and a half for a main course which wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered pie, mash vegetables and gravy. What I was served was, pie, fries, lettuce and gravy. My wife’s fish and chips were very over cooked. And had a mixture of garden and mushy peas. One person in the kitchen. Absolutely terrible . The waitress offered a desert as compensation which had not turned up after waiting an hour and so we went to bed. We were then woken up at ten past twelve with an horrendous noise which lasted over an hour. Rang the reception desk which was not answered so left 2 messages. Discussed our issues at reception on checkout but the guy did not really seem to be interested.
