Liked: The property is full of character. We enjoyed the meals and the staff were were friendly and welcoming.

We loved it.

Liked: Everything - we knew our room would be small but it was perfect, and dinner was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. It had a real pub atmosphere , is good value and the recent refurbishment a lovely improvement. We will find an excuse to go back!
Disliked: Another fire/wood stove in the main dining room would be a bonus.

Liked: Beautiful place, warm and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Clean room with character to it. Tasty breakfast.

Liked: good communication prior to arrival welcoming friendly relaxed staff lovely room in main building not sure why other room was allocated outside in a cottage but that was also nicelovely towelsevening meal good food and good choicesgood choice of drinks bar games cards chess dominoes on hand
Disliked: breakfast - lots of choice- beans with full english would be a nice touch stayed two nights wasnt expecting room cleaned between but refill of milks etc may have been a good touch

Liked: Breakfast & the lady member of staff was ok no problems with that
Disliked: The room we are in our seventies access to the bed was not possible from one side & the other side access was only possible with a stool stand provided as the mattress was exceptionally high. Room view described as courtyard could also be descried as Backyard .Evening meal had Fish & chips - asked for bread or roll with butter to accompany waiter returned saying no bread available " all bread was allocated for breakfast next day" so could not be supplied = What !!
