Danci, visiting Ace of Spades Sacramento

I will never stay there again. It was absolutely gross!

Liked: The IHOP in the parking lot.
Disliked: All of it. Our room was so filthy I didn't want to touch anything. The lights did not work. The heater clinked all night but that toned out the domestic disturbance happening all night in the hall.

Sketch.pool closed.staff no help.just excuses.

Liked: Location was close to hospital but alot of drug activity,prostitution,homeless etc.room was clean but Def not up to best Western reputation.
Disliked: Pool was closed. Has been for months I think.but when choosing this hotel the pics are very misleading.it was 96 degrees,I brought my swimsuit expecting to enjoy the pool.staff just shrugged that it was closed.open drug use across the street,random people in hallway and pets running upstairs above us.noisy all night.

Shocked upon arrival

Liked: Clean room with comfortable bed.
Disliked: Cheap white decor and big sliding door on bathroom gave me the feeling of being in a jail cell. Parking lot filthy with dirt and trash. Homeless around. Noisy location. Actually felt unsafe and worried car might be broken into.

Disliked: The pool wasn’t open the entire week despite it being over 90 F. You might need to ask twice if you want room service or change of towels/ linens

I asked for a first...

Liked: the breakfast was ok nice bed
Disliked: desk clerk was surly, not nice when I asked about my request of a first floor room. walked in and bathroom door was off so essentially no door. They came to fix it but still rather annoying.
