Liked: A Fantastic Stay at The Midland HotelThe Midland Hotel was ideally situated, providing easy access to both the golf course and the nearby hotel where we attended a wedding. Although the room was compact, it was perfectly suited to our needs. The staff were warm, professional, and took the time to ensure we were well-informed about fire safety procedures during check-in. The pub’s food was outstanding—delicious meals at great value, with breakfast included. Overall, a superb experience that combined convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

Disliked: Very noisy during the day. Kitchen had radio on extremely loud and their door was open. I was staying in room 2 and even with my tv I could hear it loudly. Went and asked him to shut the door which to be fair to him he did but it continued to be noisy with other folk. My stay was for photography so very early start meant I missed breakfast as needed to leave at 06.45 and breakfast was from 07.00 no offer of reduction in price or for a packed breakfast. Quite disappointing

Liked: Comfortable room, nice and clean. Third time that we have stayed.
Disliked: The meal that we had, with two friends that was the purpose of the visit was not as good as previous visits. Steak on mixed grill was more well done than medium rare as requested. Did not want to complain as it would have spoiled our meeting with friends.

Great staff, great value and...

Liked: The pub and coffee shop were always busy and welcoming. The stables accommodation are pretty buildings, comfortably tucked around the back of the pub. The staff were great, the food was good, and I had everything I needed for the stay.
Disliked: I guess my only complaint would be hearing staff outside the rooms in the mornings but I also enjoyed hearing them singing while they worked!! The WiFi was a bit iffy so I had to hotspot my own phone connection to work……
