THE MIDLAND HOTEL Chicago a Tribute Portfolio Hotel Chicago Downtown

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. I would recommend other people to stay at your location.

Liked: The room was very nicely decorated.
Disliked: Rooms could be a little bigger.

Liked: The hotel itself is very beautiful, clean and friendly. The location is perfectly within walking distance from Union Station and the Art Institute and thats what we needed.
Disliked: Even though we reserved a room with a roll away bed, the hotel did not have a roll away available for our third person. Thank goodness kids are flexible enough to sleep on the floor.

Liked: The room service was amazing,We stayed here for our honeymoon it’s in a great location right in the middle of downtown Chicago by so many food options fancy lobby and just a great experience!
Disliked: The rooms were pretty pricey we paid almost $600 for 2 nights and the room was fairly small and everything costed money down to the fridge that’s super small the microwave and movies

Liked: Breakfast was great. However there's a down side to that. Location was busy.
Disliked: I got charged for my breakfast even though I paid an extra amount via booking.com for a credit to my room for breakfast that was never given. I left my necklace there and staff is unaccomodating to answer my questions about how to get it shipped to my home seeing I ran into issues making the label. I never got the money back the staff member said ACCOUNTING would refund for my breakfast I got charged for. I won't be staying again after that.

Convenient to Union Station but...

Liked: Good stay in Downtown Chicago. Convenient to Union Station.
Disliked: You could hear the elevated train at night. Bring earplugs.

Liked: The midland hotel, a very nice, the hotel actually looks like the pictures that were advertised very pleased with the my stay.
