The Mews Hotel

Convenient location and friendly staff.

Liked: Booking in was easy. Family run business and friendly staff and comfortable room which overlooked the parking at the front. The breakfast was good and we could have as much coffee as we wanted. Very convenient stop over for a long drive from the highlands (Helmsdale) back to London.
Disliked: I think the decor was a little tired, and I prefer muesli breakfast cereals to boxes of Kellogs. Facilities were of an acceptable standard, though I thought the cost of the room a little high.

Liked: I arrived at the hotel at 8:40 and tried to get an evening meal but was advised they had stopped serving. Very annoying after a long day and no mention when I checked in.

Liked: Friendly staff, lovely pub, decent breakfast, plenty parking, comfy rooms right next to the motorway junction. Breakfast was perfect.
Disliked: It was all great

Disliked: Stairs a little steep and bath not easy to get in and out of safely.

Liked: Small but practical single room, comfy bed. Limited but very nice breakfast.
Disliked: Shower was very weak but I got wet eventually!
