Great evening meal and a...

Liked: Great evening meal and a very clean, comfy room. Large room which was very clean, tea coffee all provided etc. The food at the pub is delicious. You should eat in the pub is you stay here!
Disliked: Road outside is a little noisy at night.

Traditional hostelry with quality food...

Liked: Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, full size bath and plenty of storage space. There was an extensive menu for the evening meal and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient all round. Booking for evening meal highly recommended as this is a busy pub!
Disliked: Our room was directly on the road and although it was not a particularly hot night it was still necessary to leave the window open for ventilation meaning a certain level of traffic noise. The breakfast choice was odd - bacon, eggs and sausages were available but not together on the same plate!

Liked: Extremely good value if you travel alone and dont mind a single bed. Small rooms but well designed and laid out. Staff really friendly and food and drink is excellent. I normally stay on a Monday night and it is always busy. Well recommended.
Disliked: Nothing.
