The Metropolitan Guest House

Good value, good location.

Liked: Beautifully appointed room. All very clean. Great breakfast options, requested the night before, then made promptly when we went for breakfast.Close to the Metro. Our son came by Metro to meet us, and this would get good for getting around if staying longer.
Disliked: Sadly had to be on the 2nd floor because the room we had requested on the first floor had a washbasin damaged by a previous guest. No reserved parking (which we knew), but fortunately we were able to find a street parking place nearby.

Liked: Paul is a very friendly and welcoming host, He also has great local knowledge of the surrounding areas. The room was very clean with everything you would ever need. Quite location but still only a very short walk to the beach, metro and town centre.I would highly recommend the breakfast as well, very tasty and will keep you going till late in the afternoon.

Wonderful Whitley Bay B&B

Liked: Fantastic B&B in an excellent location, approx 5 min walk to Metro station. We had a twin bedded attic room with en suite facilities. Breakfast lovely with great coffee.
Disliked: Nothing

Definitely be back

Liked: We were met by Paul and he is a proper ray of sunshine. We felt welcomed and he showed us our room. Explained everything and we were left to our own devices.
Disliked: The mattress could do with an upgrade.

We only stayed for one...

Liked: The whole property was beautifully furnished and very clean.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was lovely.
