Stay in LA
Liked: The hotel was close to downtown. Room was clean, bed was somewhat comfy pillows weren't the best but ok. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was only sweet muffins, although they were yummy some cereal for breakfast would have been nice.
Disliked: The bathroom fan was very noisy turning on whenever, morning, noon and night. Also the air con was noisy. The guy upstairs was walking (thumping) up and down his tiny room from before sunrise to midnight, very annoying. Upon arrival no information given re transport in area (bus, train metro)

Perfect spot for shows in...
Liked: The room was perfect to crash out after a show and they had those beds that feel like sleeping on a cloud. The 8 min walk to the Bellwether was exactly what I was aiming for. The breakfast bakery items were great. Place was clean, pretty and safe.

Wanted to love it, but...
Liked: Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was nice.
Disliked: Really wanted to love this place, but it was a bit of a creepy experience. Only one person at check-in/lobby and they leave a lot to do other things - so several times phones are just ringing but no one at desk or picking up phone. There is a coffee and water machine in the "lobby area" but no water, tea or coffee available in the room itself. "Lobby area" (sitting area, office style table with chairs and sign with "no outside food allowed") locked at 10pm. Housekeeping every other day. Really expensive for what it is - bed, small desk, 1 chair and small sitting stool.
