We paid 59 pounds for a pretty good room and breakfast. Can't fault anything for that price. Would definitely use again. Really close to Leeds Academy.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Holly on reception was particularly good.

Great stay at the met...

Liked: We had room 422 and can honestly say it was one of the best rooms we have stayed in.The bed was huge and so comfortable,there was a large tv at the bottom of the bed, the room was exceptionally clean.The staff were great in reception very friendly.On checking out we asked if we could leave our luggage as we wanted to look around leeds, straight away the guy on reception said of course you can it wasn't a problem.I couldn't fault anything about this hotel.
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Very poor. The most friendly...

Disliked: Given a baking hot room with no AC (on the top floor, even though they knew the temp regulation wasn't working at that it was worse on the top floor). When I asked to move, was told that none of the AC was working but was given a ground floor room where it might be better.Had to discover there was no wifi, again even though they knew this to be the case all day.Mentioned to reception that the signage was poor to actually find the entrance (the couple behind me in the queue agreed). Was told "I didn't write the signs, my boss did" " its ok, the normal entrance is only blocked for another 2 weeks" "other people have managed ok"

Liked: We have stayed in the property before and stayed there again as we loved it and the location was great
Disliked: We were not made aware before hand that the hotel was under a massive refurbishment so there was a lot of disruption in the hotel. Also on the hottest day of the year the air conditioning was not working in the bedroom so we had to have the window open which wasn’t ideal.

Fine for one night

Liked: It was clean to a degree and comfortable
Disliked: The room we had although comfortable had an ensuite bathroom and the bath was horrible, peeling anti slip on the bottom which looked dirty also and a shower screen doesnt prevent water from going all over the floor leading to a potential slip hazard
