Liked: I have stayed at the Merrie Lion on numerous occasions and if i am ever working in the area will try and stay there. The room are very spacious, clean and inviting. The Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great value for money. I had the catch of the day and it was lovely. The large breakfast is a belly buster, thoroughly enjoyed.

Liked: We liked the privacy - room in separate building from pub, the cleanliness, comfort, the quality of the breakfast, peaceful location, patio doors and little outside area, pleasant staff.We didn't like the fencing around the garden. We would have preferred to have the views

A second wonderful stay.

Liked: Accommodation was great, really large bed and spacious room. Food was way beyond normal pub grub, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our second visit and hopefully we'll stay again.
