Good value and lovely staff.

Liked: Location was great for what we wanted to do. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The spacious shower was good. Restaurant food was tasty.
Disliked: Room 2 noisy with ventilation equipment outside but was turned off around 10 ish so did not disturb our sleep.

Liked: Lovely staff, fabulous room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, great breakfast that was freshly cooked and lovely views outside...ample on site parking.....only downside was the rain

Liked: Big room nicely decorated. Lovely staff member served our breakfast and was great with our toddler.
Disliked: We arrived at 10:30pm and no one was around - had to call the restaurant number and eventually someone came. There is a night porter but take note last official check-in is 10pm.

Disliked: The window was open in the room on my late arrival, so the room was freezing cold (also no option to have the heating on). When I arrived late (11pm) one of the staff members said to another "late arrival?" and tutted, all within my view. Apparently they'd tried to reach me on the phone without success (I have no idea why!). I was 1.5 hours later than I'd told them I would be due to a death in my partner's family. The walls in the room were a mess, the sink drained slowly, the water pressure was low, every time someone walked through a particular door downstairs it was loud/felt in the room (seemed to slam), and on leaving they couldn't provide me with a printed invoice. Oh, and I couldn't get out of the front door without almost kicking it open. They need to spend some money here!I wish I'd booked the Travelodge or other large chain hotel. Don't be deceived by the lovely pictures!
