The Merlin an elegant 19th-century inn is located just 1640 feet from the independent shops and restaurants in affluent Alderley Edge's village center. A pub restaurant with a stylish chandelier made of wine glasses free private parking are available on site. Wilmslow's town center and rail station are less than a 5-minute drive away. Manchester Airport is less than 10 minutes' drive from Innkeeper's Lodge Alderley Edge and scenic walks can be enjoyed just 20 minutes' drive away in the Peak District National Park. The pub restaurant offers a wide selection of beer wine and cocktails. You can relax in the bar or by the fireplace. Perfectly Nice Hotel - Best...

Liked: Welcoming and friendly staff, good beer selection, large room with a nice bathroom
Disliked: Not really an issue regarding the hotel but the environment outside it - but people wanting to get from the hotel to central Alderley Edge are best advised to drive as the road is horrible to walk along, it is very busy and there is no safe point to cross, nor any path at all for most of its eastern side.

Liked: The taff are fantastic and super helpful....large room and great bathroom
Disliked: bed was very hard...the smell of cooking from downstairs was a little unpleasant..,quite noisy with the main road.

Pleasant team. Great food. Poor...

Liked: Food is great and best part of experience to the point would eat there again but not stay.
Disliked: Cleanliness of room, not convinced sheets were changed. Urine on toilet hinges from what looks like a few guests back!

Excellent Hotel, In a lovely...

Liked: The Merlin is a lovely HOTEL walking distance from Alderley Edge. Lots of pubs and restaurants in the very nice town, but if you stayed and had food and drinks at The Merlin you would not be disappointed. Lovely restaurant area inside and outside. Excellent food and service. We had a lovely lunch. Looking forward to our next stay. THANK YOU.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
