Not worth it

Liked: The spot
Disliked: Everything else, especially the booking side of things. We asked for rooms next to each other due to kids which couldn’t be guaranteed of course. At the venue itself we hear back that the selected type of rooms could have never been next to each other. This after them reading our request at arrival. Doesn’t seem they take the time to read what visitors put in their comments/ request - even if it’s way ahead of time. Next day we also get called back as something had gone missing, an auto alert eventually which was an error. Meaning we drove back 20min for nothing.

I would still stay here...

Liked: The hotel was quaint and lovely. The location was great. Walking distance from shopping, restaurants and the beach. The staff were very accommodating and I had an issue with the sliding door, which they immediately fixed, even though it was after operating hours.
Disliked: There was a hold of $250 on my card for the room, something that happens in most places, but not such a high hold. The issue with this was that the room was in disrepair (i.e. frayed curtain/ripped at the top) and I was worried I would get blamed for it, so I started taking pictures to ensure they knew it wasn't me.
