Disliked: Room was full and looked old and tired in style. It was Victorian style but I felt it could have had more of a feel of splendour and Victorian elegance. Was disappointed in how dingy it looked and felt.

Liked: The staff at the merchant went above and beyond to make my mother and daughter’s birthday feel special. They were extremely kind and accommodating. Customer service at the merchant is on par with the stunning interior.

Absolutely wonderful hotel experience

Liked: Beautiful ambiance that is carried through the hotel from the breakfast area with stunning decorations to the bar with the old rustic feeling all the way to the rooms which are spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. The kind of room you immediately take off your shoes in. The location is excellent with most places for eating and drinking within 5 minutes walking and even the Titanic museum being only 20 minutes away. Very friendly staff and beautiful facilities. This hotel was just such a pleasure to stay at.

For the price I expected...

Liked: Staff were extremely professional.
Disliked: Cleanliness of room, drawer full of dust, hair on toilet and chipped tile on bathroom floor… chip on bathroom mirror top corner also.

Disliked: Safe in room in ridiculous position requiring you to crawl on hands and knees to access it. No fridge in room.

Liked: Room was magnificent, large comfy bed. Nice central location, nice little luxurious touches.
Disliked: Cocktail bar very busy. No system for seating order, waited over 20 minutes for cocktails after ordering.
