Worse place to say. Horrible

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Cold room, we told the staff that the heating wasnt working, came, looked at it started to heath a little then stone cold all night. We had some heating in the morning but we froze during the night. Mold in the bathroom, broke window in the room ,all night we could hear the wind. Noisy floor, headboard of the double bed dirty, the room smels of rotten eggs, i think because of the bathroom not being cleaned. We had breakfast included, one eg, 2 sausage, one bacon and a spoon of beans. We had to asked for breakfast because the lady didnt bother to ask us if we want. Very unfriendly, the whole place makes you feel that you should run from it. Seaside view??? No chance Payed 63 £ for one night, been to other places where i payed less and it was clean and cosy and far more better. The room and service doesnt deserves more that 20 £. Filthy

basic accomadation, basic price, pleasent...

Liked: we had a cooked breakfast which was very nice, there was also a good choice of other things as an alternative. tea & coffee was self service & as much as you wanted. breakfast was served in the bar area. rooms were basic, but you get what you pay for. rooms were well heated & plenty of hot water for baths & showering. plenty of amenities close by. pleasant & friendly staff. a basic but enjoyable stay for a reasonable price. 2nd time we have stayed here & will do so again. good selection of drinks available at the bar along with a good food menu if you wish to eat in.
Disliked: car parking is a bit tight but not too much of a problem really.

Overpriced.

Liked: it was conveniently located and quiet
Disliked: It was cold, shabby and unwelcoming. Coked breakfast was not offered. Discovered afterwards that a full English breakfast was supposed to be in with the price.

Get what you pay for

Liked: Bed was comfy and room very clean. Ridiculously spacious which was a pleasant surprise. Despite the waitress being so rude, the rest of the staff were perfectly lovely.
Disliked: Decor needed updating desperately. 'Breakfast' waitress had a terrible terrible attitude and we wouldn't return purely because of her. For someone in a customer facing role she really needs to learn some manners and basic people skills. Ignored us for 20 minutes while she sat outside having a smoke! Breakfast was also particularly poor. Toilet was intermittently dripping/running all night.

Disappointing

Disliked: Excellent location off Upper Bangor and near the Straits, enter through the bar, room very functional, did exactly what we needed, clean, comfortable beds, good size room for 4, noise from bar stopped about 11.30. Decor is tired, and bathroom desperately needs an upgrade. Couldn't get hot water for the shower, and couldn't find anyone to help so had a cold shower. No one around at checkout but, really nice, when we went back to the car after breakfast at Mike's Bites, a member of staff came running out with my daughters charger. Thankyou.
