Excellent staff and great value...

Liked: Had a great stay at the Menai, our host Matt Was so friendly and welcoming , as were the other staff there. We were in easy walking distance of the university and their are plenty of shops and bars in the surrounding area to keep you entertained,The hotel has its own bar which we took advantage of and hade a great night , not too busy and loud but not empty either, just right 👍🍺

Disliked: The whole hotel needs renovation, the carpet and furniture were stained, not sure what with! The shower was slow with hardly any water pressure. Had the smallest TV in the world and the bed was uncomfortable! On my last day I got blocked in by a delivery driver who refused to move before he was finished, making me half an hour late for my appointment, nobody in the hotel helped

Liked: Great staff, extremely friendly. Rooms were also a good size and very comfortable.

Disliked: Knowing it was a pub hotel, I should have checked if there were any events happening as there was a karaoke night on the Friday. It wasn’t overly loud and finished at 12.
