Hidden gem

Liked: Very accommodating and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Good atmosphere on evenings. Good drink options in bar. Nice room.
Disliked: Only thing I would say is that some of the door hinges need a bit of greasing. My bathroom door squeaked very loudly, which was disruptive at night.

Exceptional

Liked: They are accomodating, very friendly people...especially the person that served me breakfast everyday he is so kind and very pleasant..most welsh people and will definitely be back
Disliked: Not much really

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Badly in need of a refurbishment. Bed room OK. Up very steep stairs.Breakfast very poor. Hash browns were still frozen and beans icy cold. Didn't dare eat the sausage. Staff pleasant enough.

Liked: Facilities were adequate, comfortable beds and breakfast was excellent. Friendly people who are very accommodating too.
Disliked: Hotel is a little bit dated but that didnt prevent us from having a good evening.

Disliked: Shower in Room 8: had to run around under it to get wet, but eventually managed to get wet enough.

A comfortable place to stay...

Liked: Excellent location close to centre of town and close to bus and rail links.Comfortable room and bed. Generous hospitality tray and a very nice English/Welsh breakfast. Excellent value. Would return.
Disliked: These are mere niggles. Perhaps better lighting in the room. I often wonder why we must use soaps and shampoos from China but I guess they are cheap to buy from suppliers.
