Average hotel

Liked: Location is really good - a few mins walk to the centre. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. Air con is pretty much silent so that was really good.
Disliked: Room wasn't as nice as I had hoped for a hotel of that * rating - odd shape and not that large. Water pressure in the shower was bad and the shower head itself didn't have adjustable water pressure. No full length mirror anywhere, despite their being space for it on the back of the door. Check in staff seemed unhappy to be working there so not the best welcome. I booked a room in the old wing, thinking it would have more character but it couldn't have less character if it tried. I used to live in Perth and remembered it had a great bar and that was the main reason for booking it but bar was closed due to refurbishment.In general, it just felt all a little bit depressing, rather than the one night of luxury I had hoped for!
