The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block

Great hotel in an awesome location.

Liked: Great urban spot! Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Our view from out room was not the best but honestly, we spent our time in the main lobby as the vibe was excellent!

Amazing location, but the room...

Liked: The location is really nice. You have a full set of restaurants and activities within wakling distance. In the building there are like 5 different food venues and multiple bars between the food hall and restaurant. They are expensive, for sure, but seemed comparable to most other places in the area.
Disliked: The "Craftsman King" room we had was just shockingly uncomfortable to try and exist in. There was only one comfortable seat in the whole room in a single leather chair, and no other great place to sit. You can't really sit on the edge of the bed because it doesn't have a box spring, so your legs are always hitting the bedframe if you hang off the edge. The nightstands are both super low to the ground so they aren't helpful if you want to have a clock, tablet or phone on them to have easy access while laying down. We ended up moving chairs in place of the the nightstands just to have something to use.The room also had an obnoxiously loud air conditioner that would wake me up in the middle of the night when it turned on. It didn't even keep the room that cold. This was probably due to the large windows, which otherwise were nice, and being on the top floor.The bathroom is spacious certainly, and the two sinks was nice, but there were just weird omissions like no soap dish between either sink, a lack of hooks for towels, and no ledges in the shower to put any shower supplies on. Hair dryer was kind of meh as well.I know you're mostly spending the money for the location, but dang, I was at least expecting to have a nice room to be able to relax in, but the only way to do it with this room type was to be laying down on the bed.
