Delightful haven in Nantucket.

Liked: Meeting other guests from all over the world.
Disliked: Loud dish washing.

Gorgeous Inn, perfect location.

Liked: What a beautiful property!! The house was stunning and at a fantastic location, just a short walk from the ferry and town. I rented one of the single rooms with the shared bathroom. Size of the room was perfect for one, room and bathroom (only to be shared with one other guest) were kept clean daily and bathroom was large with enough towels and a great shower. Breakfast was more than expected to be included in the price, and a selection of cookies, coffee, tea, water and juices were available throughout the day. There was a beautiful living room (with tv) to be shared with other guests. I didn't meet the inn keeper until the last day, so I did a self check-in, but he was easily reachable via text if I needed anything! The housekeepers were also friendly and offered assistance when I arrived. I definitely hope to return to this beautiful property!!
Disliked: All was lovely!! My only suggestion:I was in room 10, which had no coat rack or coathangers at all, while I noticed the other single room accross the hall had. So it would nice for this room to have that as well, definitely as it would be convenient for longer stays. (I was only there for 3n so it was ok, but next time I will opt for the other room because of this)

A friendly place to stay,...

Liked: The interior decor of The Martin is beautiful: fabrics, textiles, rugs in Cape Cod colours. All the furniture so tastefully chosen, it was a pleasure to enjoy the ambiance of the Inn. David the manager was friendly, even offering us homecooked croissants and warm chocolate chip cookies! A friendly place, good for meeting other traveller's.
Disliked: The breakfast is plentiful, but we would have appreciated some whole grain cereal, like oats or granola.

Liked: The cookies were amazing & freshly baked! The staff is very accommodating, friendly &beautifully commutative. The refreshments are free (selection is desirable)! Open door policy but still very private. Decor is beautiful! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Location is about 5-10 from downtown (walking)
Disliked: There was hair and a stain on the sheets. The bathroom shower was filling up oppose to a clean fast drain. It was like I was showering in a puddle.
