Fantastic rooms above a lively...

Liked: Large room size, well equipped for tea/ coffee, big comfortable bed , spacious beautiful bathroom, loved the contemporary decor. Good value for money.
Disliked: Access arrangements still a work in progress. Lift under construction, stairwells unfinished. And it's a long way up to the 2nd floor! Noise from bar/ building works could be a problem in some rooms but not for us.

Superb

Liked: Great rooms. I stayed here for four separate nights over a two week period and had a different room each time. All were great, comfortable rooms. Shower superb each time.
Disliked: If I’m being very picky, one of the rooms didn’t have any hanging space for my suit so I had to hang it over a chair. That is really picky though. This venue was a gem, and will be my go to choice next time I’m working in Reading.

Liked: Large room, great WiFi, strong water pressure, and relatively quiet given the active bar downstairs. Location in central Reading allows for great access to all that you may want to see.
Disliked: There’s no lift, so beware if you have heavy luggage.

Nice room and loud environment

Liked: Loved the decor of the rooms and the nice touches like the coffee machine and bathroom products
Disliked: Loud music in the bar downstairs prevented me from getting to sleep. Walls are thin so could hear loud snoring from another guest. No lift so had to lug suitcase up 2 flights of stairs

Convenient.

Liked: Convenient for local facilities. Convenient for Railway station and RailAir bus.
Disliked: Too many stairs. A lift is a must.

Comfortable room, terrific location.

Liked: Fabulous location, just a short walk from the train station, and right between the vibrant town centre and the fascinating ruined abbey. The room was small but very comfortable, with everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The walls between rooms were a bit thin - we could hear the tv next door for a while - but it didn't last for long. Warning for those who need it - there are lots of stairs.
