Disliked: I was not thrilled with the location as it was not in Union Square. We saw a lot of homeless people around the area and for some reason a lot of dog poop. The hotel was lovely but the location was not ideal for us since we have small children.

Liked: The staff were very friendly, the hotel had a lovely lobby area and places to sit and relax. The restaurant was good with a variety of food.
Disliked: The location is very close to the Tenderloin area, as a solo traveller I did not find the area very safe and therefore would not recommend the area to solo travellers. Once inside I felt very safe, equally once I had walked a couple of blocks away the surrounding area felt very safe and the pavements were much cleaner.The rooms would benefit from tea/coffee stations.
