Liked: location, comfort, cleanliness, historic building
Disliked: We would highly recommend room darkening drapes/shades! Waking up to glaring sunlight at 6 am was not pleasant!

Great location and hospitality for...
Liked: Ended up being a great location for walking around most of the city! We walked all around downtown, Pearl District, and even from across the bridge from the east side of the river. We LOVED the sheets, super soft and we slept so well--I even bought some once I got home, haha! Super friendly and helpful staff. In the room, there was a small window that opened inward for fresh air that we left open during the entire time. We were on the 5th floor, so safety wasn't an issue, and we had an interesting view of the streets below. I would stay here again!
Disliked: The bathroom was pretty small, with no counterspace (just a pedestal sink). Also no bathroom fan. I would love if this place had a small cocktail bar in the lobby for those rainy times that you want a drink but don't feel like sitting in your room or going anywhere. Some traffic noise in the middle of the nights with random people screaming and such (lots of homeless in the area, but not a safety issue to me--I live in San Diego and am used to it), but I was able to get back to sleep pretty easily amidst the interruptions.
