The Marine Hotel

Superb

Liked: We liked the location at the harbour and friendly staff.The room was comfortable and a great view of the sea.Breakfast was excellent, a self-service buffet and good variety of fresh food.
Disliked: Steep stairs up to the rooms, but staff helped with our luggage.Parking can be tricky if it's busy, but it is free parking, and there are other car parks a short walk away.

Liked: Great location, nice room with a beautiful view, great continental breakfast.
Disliked: Noisy at night, but to be expected given the rooms are above a pub.

Liked: Location was good with great viewsBed was comfyNo shared toilet thankfully, despite being advertised as such.
Disliked: Room very dusty had a coughing fit due to dust, no Scottish breakfast, advertised as a shared toilet which it was not thankfully, very noisy could hear next room TV on even with ear plugs in, kettle a nightmare, hot water everywhere. definitely not worth the money.

Great place

Liked: I can't fault this hotel,the staff were very friendly and helpful it was in a great location.The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and cool compared to other hotels I have stayed in.I will definitely be back.
Disliked: I loved everything.

Liked: Good continental breakfast.
Disliked: No teaspoon in the room for tea making. No plug in hand-basin. Corridors were dark. Handrails on stairs were sticky.

Exceptional

Liked: love the room and view! Even with the mist this weekend it was awesome. Near the walking path to Dunnottar Castle and incredible food in the restaurant!
Disliked: everything was perfect, nothing not to like.

Liked: Great position and breakfast mush improved from last stay.
Disliked: Room very hot and stuffy up a lot of stairs. Public areas particularly stairs not very clean.
