The Maples

A superb experience all round...

Liked: I couldn’t find fault with anything I experienced during my entire stay and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. If I should have cause to return to Hythe in the future, I would not hesitate to stay at Martin and Liz’s delightful guest house again.
Disliked: Nothing!

Superb

Liked: Incredible little B&B, perfect for what I needed.Great location for my STCW course that was a 5 minute walk down the road.Very welcoming hosts and very close to the town.Great breakfast selection.
Disliked: Quality and quantity of breakfast could be improved.

Exceptional

Liked: Elizabeth was so helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and really helped Ona couple of things during a rather stressful few days away working. I only managed to make the breakfast once but was great. Thank you and would definitely stay again.

A positively memorable stay at...

Liked: Perfect stay at The Maples. So comfortable I booked an extra night.Thank you Elizabeth and Martin for being great hosts!Would highly recommend.

If you like the location...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Location for what I wanted was excellent because I definitely wanted to be in Hythe, which is in general quite well provided for with cafés, restaurants and a couple of good bars. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like. Although The Maples is in the category of places that could theoretically be better, they have made good use of the building they have to a high standard of work. The price reflects that standard and the shortage of B&Bs in the Waterside area.

Lovely place to stay.

Liked: Centrally located, The Maples is a great place to stay. Lovely clean and well equipped rooms with a Hearty breakfast to start the day. Friendly hosts who made me most welcome. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Nothing,

10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Liked: Room and breakfast were great. Perfect for anyone doing a course for Fire Aid, only a 10 minute walk to facitly. Less then 5 mins to the centre of hythe where you can find everything you need i.e. grocery store, pubs and restaurants. Well looked after by owners. The area had a water outage and the owners went out and got everyone water bottles so they could stay hydrated. Couldn’t say a bad thing about the location and the property.
Disliked: N/A

Disliked: Can’t think of anything that could have made our stay better. Limited parking at hotel when busy, but public parking nearby
