The Maples is a Victorian house located in the village of Hythe 1.7 miles from the edge of the New Forest National Park. The city of Southampton can be reached in 25 minutes via the Hythe Ferry. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player USB charging socket tea and homemade biscuits and thick fluffy towels. Ironing facilities can be provided on request. A full cooked breakfast is on offer each morning along with fruit yogurt and homemade preserves. Food can be enjoyed in the dining room or in the courtyard garden during warmer months. The area is popular for golfing; Dibden Golf Center is a 6-minute drive away and offers scenic views over the New Forest. From Hythe you can enjoy picturesque views across Southampton Water and its impressive cruise liners which come into the port on most days.

Superb

Liked: Hosts were very, Breakfast was very good, room was very clean and the facilities in my opinion were good.
Disliked: Parking was a bit tight but ok.

Great location and breakfasts -...

Liked: Excellent breakfasts - can't fault them.Very well located for training with Fire Aid which is a very easy walk from the accommodationOpposite Lidl which is very convenient.Short walk in the other direction to Hythe centre
Disliked: Room - small and crampedEnsuite - poor shower with intermittent pressure so the shower would keep turning off. Ensuite was very tired.Boiler wasn't working on the last day/night - so no mains hot water or heating - just an electric oil radiator.My main complaint was that my room wasn't serviced after my first night's stay - apparently I hadn't been there long enough - go figure on that one, I was paying £76 per night.

Liked: I stayed at The Maples whilst doing my STCW training at Fire Aid and had a really lovely stay. They were so kind and friendly, room was super clean and cosy and the area was really nice.

Excellent stay could not fault...

Liked: Breakfast was amazing. The link to complete a pre order was a great idea.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property was idealy placed for local bus routes. Definitely will be staying there again
