The Manor House Hotel

Peaceful enjoyable stay

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was really good, the room was spacious and clean with access to a hair dryer to use at a mirrored table and a fan to make the room temperature more comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, the hotel was period and beautiful inside and out and the location was great within a 15 minute walking distance from the middle of town.
Disliked: The only item that needs to be worked on is the bed. It was comfortable but slanted down towards the headboard. We did not bring this to the staff's attention and just slept with our heads towards the foot of the bed which worked just fine. Even with this minor issue I would stay here again without hesitation.

Liked: Quiet, lovely gardens, off street parking, close to village, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent porridge.

Liked: Everything was excellent. The staff are very nice, the place is very quiet and beautiful. Its just a 5 minute walk to the ferry and downtown.
Disliked: I would not change a thing.
