Exceptional

Liked: Staff were all lovely and willing to help and make our stay as stress free and relaxing as possible. Hotel was clean throughout , comfortable bed and excellent food.
Disliked: Nothing

If it wasn’t for the...

Liked: Beautiful views in a good location. The staff in general were very helpful especially Maggie the receptionist/bar staff who went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly
Disliked: The hotel is very tired, needs a total refurbishment. Beds were clean and comfortable but carpets need replaced, skirting needs a good clean, cobwebs in dining room even on the chairs and tables very sticky. In all it could be a beautiful hotel but in its current state it’s very grubby.

Very good

Liked: Staff brilliant very helpful. We were further out from Crickhowell than I thought. Should have brought swimwear to use pool.Sunday lunch was excellent as was my dinner of fishcake. Other meal was steak which was a bit tough
Disliked: Breakfast ( full Welsh) was disappointing.
