Liked: The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The bathroom was tiny with no room to put a toilet bag. Unfortunately the extractor fan was very noisy. Also the noise from kitchen fan carried up into the bedroom. The 2 small windows didn't let in much air & there was no air conditioning option. Lastly, although breakfast was very good, the varnish on the tables was so old that it was sticky. That was disappointing.

Liked: View from the room were amazing good size room with 2 massive window for light very comfortable we had two issues that staff promptly put right immediately

Little gem

Liked: Easy check in, leisure facilities were superb, breakfast and dinner were outstanding Would stay again
Disliked: Pillows - 4 pillows on the bed not one of them flat for a front sleeper

A perfect 1 night stop...

Liked: A great location whilst on a driving holiday. Gorgeous views from the patio and the food was delicious. Rooms were comfortable
Disliked: It’s a gorgeous, historical property but definitely needs some upgrading. With a bit of TLC and restyling, it could easily become a 5star hotel.

Liked: Stayed here many times before .Newish owners now have a handle on things and it's as good as ever. Improved menu etc Great facilities, the gym has been upgraded too .Staff very pleasant. Ideal.
Disliked: Minor gripe ,the food service was quite slow but it was a Bank Holiday and very busy .
