Liked: Helpful and friendly reception staff. Comfy bed. A problem with our allocated room was resolved promptly and with courtesy. We were given another upgraded room.
Disliked: Hotel was a bit tired and could do with being refurbished. However, it was clean, comfortable and in a lovely setting.

Good value but needs more...

Liked: The hotel is in a lovely location away from the main roads, the rooms are well set out and have nice touches like a Nespresso coffee machine. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, the food in the bar although expensive was very good quality and arrived fairly quickly considering there was a wedding on. Excellent Parking
Disliked: There needs to be a program of maintenance covering the rooms, the bathroom fan ran all night and was quite noisy, no plug sockets near the bed, this should be the norm in 2024. The room didn't appear to have been cleaned to a good standard with Pubic Hairs left in the toilet and parts from the bath taps in the bath not in the tap.

Liked: It was a beautiful location. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. The beds are super soft. Also they provide a coffee machine and kettle both available in the room.
Disliked: Our room was a little dated, mainly the carpet however it was clean to perfection and kept the room warm and snug so not really an issue at all.
