Manhattan Club is a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a great location.

Liked: Location. It was within walking distance to the event I was attending.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: toilet ran all night. asked to have it fixed multiple times. they said they fixed it. that never happened. called management, they still haven’t returned my phone call

Pleasant

Liked: The first room they gave us was very dusty and smelly, not at all clean. When I told them they moved me to a new room, this was smaller than the one they gave me first, but at least it was cleaner and did not smell, the front desk was not friendly. I expected something more when I booked a suite. Breakfast was not included and very expensive. I prefer to stay at a hotel where they recognise you and appreciate you. This is very average.

Good comfortable stay, it was...

Liked: Good comfortable stay with good space and 2 bathrooms. Having a fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery and a dining area was useful for us.
Disliked: Room was quite cold and AC was fixed at one temperature which made it even colder when turned on.

The hotel made for a...

Liked: Location, bed comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. The front desk staff was exceptionally responsive to our request to merge two reservations. The housekeeping staff responded to other requests immediately and with wonderful service and understanding.
Disliked: Not much at all but since you asked, the shower curtain smelled a bit funny but housekeeping replaced it immediately upon request.

Overpriced and disappointing

Liked: The location definitely is the best thing about this hotel.
Disliked: Room pictures in booking did not match reality. What was sold as a suite turned out a shaby little room which was way too small for three people. Staff at the reception was unfriendly, rather slow in responding (after a few days we got three towles for the room) and obviously information flows were not smooth. A place not really to stay twice even though it is very central to a lot of sightseeing places.

We did enjoy our stay...

Liked: The location was great. It was convenient to restaurants and major attractions. The bell staff were exceptional. A major shout out to Jesse and Anthony. They really made the experience at this hotel worth the price of the room.
Disliked: We opted for the penthouse suite, so our expectations were high as far as the type of luxury that we have experienced at other hotels and resorts. We were really disappointed with the view from our room, the quality of the bedding and furniture and the elevators. The view was overlooking the rooftop of another buildings ventilation system. The sofa in our room was stained and the pillows for the extra bedding had a sour mildew smell. The second bathroom shower spout was broken but the front desk sent engineering up right away to fix it. Finally, the elevators were a complete disaster. One of the elevators were out of order upon check in so the line to get on the one that was working was long and frustrating.
