The Manhattan Club, New York City

Manhattan Club is a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a great location.

Liked: Location. It was within walking distance to the event I was attending.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Toilet paper roll mounted on opposite side of bathroom, multiple feet outside of anyone’s reach. Air conditioning wouldn’t get cooler than 73°

Liked: The central of new york near central park and Carnegie Hall but thr small number room side is facing internal air conditioner exhausting fan pit and the windows are thin so that u would listen to voom voom sound when sleeping at that side the other end of room is facing roads haven't experienced if silent or not.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff.
Disliked: No kettle or toaster in room, coffee machine a bit dodgy. Had to use service lift as guest lift constantly out of order. Room was described as a “courtyard view” however all we could see were the other rooms on the 3 other sides of the hotel. No natural light, constantly needed light on in the rooms. Only one toilet in Lobby, which was always in use as people were waiting for taxis to the airport. Only 4 chairs in the lobby for people to sit and wait for their transport, there is a lounge on 25th floor but we were only told about it as we were leaving, so I cannot comment on those facilities

Disliked: Didn’t have enough sofa linens in junior suite… Our son was cold and didn’t sleep well…

Terrace Closed Friday Evening

Disliked: We had a Penthouse that was supposed to include Terrace access. We invited family over to join us on the Terrace. We went at 6 p.m. on a Friday. The Terraces were both closed for maintenance. They said come back at 8; they will be.open. We went back at 8. Still closed, tools everywhere. Come back in 15-20 minutes. We did, still closed. They left around 8:30. We paid a lot on money for a penthouse Suite with Terrace. We come here all the time. Doing Construction on the Terrace Friday night happy hour was an unfortunate impedime t to our enjoyment this visit.
